Explanation / व्याख्या :-

Colour blindness or colour vision deficiency is the inability or decreased ability to see coluor, or perceive colour differences, under normal lighting conditions. The most usual cause is a fault in the development of one or more sets of retinal cones that perceive colour in light and transmit that information to the optic nerve. This type of colour blindness is usually a sex-linked condition. Some studies conclude that colour blind people are better at penetrating certain colour camouflages. Such findings may give an evolutionary reason for the high prevalence of redgreen colour blindness. / रंग अंधापन या रंग दृष्टि की कमी सामान्य प्रकाश स्थितियों के तहत रंग देखने, या रंग अंतर को समझने में असमर्थता या कमी की क्षमता है। सबसे सामान्य कारण रेटिना कोन के एक या अधिक सेट के विकास में एक दोष है जो प्रकाश में रंग का अनुभव करते हैं और उस जानकारी को ऑप्टिक तंत्रिका तक पहुंचाते हैं। इस प्रकार का रंग अंधापन आमतौर पर एक सेक्स से जुड़ी स्थिति है। कुछ अध्ययनों का निष्कर्ष है कि रंगहीन लोग कुछ रंग छलावरणों को भेदने में बेहतर होते हैं। इस तरह के निष्कर्ष रेडग्रीन कलर ब्लाइंडनेस के उच्च प्रसार के लिए एक विकासवादी कारण दे सकते हैं।
