Acid rain is caused by emissions of oxides of Sulfur and Nitrogen (Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxide), which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acids. The emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) result from fossil / अम्लीय वर्षा सल्फर और नाइट्रोजन (सल्फर डाइऑक्साइड और नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड) के ऑक्साइड के उत्सर्जन के कारण होती है, जो एसिड बनाने के लिए वातावरण में पानी के अणुओं के साथ प्रतिक्रिया करती है। जीवाश्म से सल्फर डाइऑक्साइड (SO2) और नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड (NOx) का उत्सर्जन होता है
