The Red Fort is a 17th century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. The fort was the palace for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s new capital, Shahjahanabad, the seventh city in the Delhi site. ./लाल किला 17वीं सदी का किला परिसर है जिसे मुगल बादशाह शाहजहां ने बनवाया था। किला मुगल सम्राट शाहजहाँ की नई राजधानी शाहजहाँनाबाद का महल था, जो दिल्ली स्थल का सातवाँ शहर था।

Hauz Khas is named after an ancient water reservoir by the same name. The large water tank or reservoir was first built by Alauddin Khilji (1296–1316)

Siri Fort, in the city of New Delhi, was built during the rule of Ala-ud-Din Khilji of the Delhi Sultanate to defend the city from the onslaught of the Mongols.
