Article 58 of the Constitution sets the principle qualifications one must meet to be eligible to the office of the President. A President must be: a citizen of India; of 35 years of age or above; and qualified to become a member of the Lok Sabha. / संविधान का अनुच्छेद 58 उन सिद्धांतों को निर्धारित करता है जो राष्ट्रपति के पद के लिए पात्र होने के लिए पूरी होनी चाहिए। एक राष्ट्रपति होना चाहिए: भारत का नागरिक; 35 वर्ष या उससे अधिक आयु के; और लोकसभा के सदस्य बनने के योग्य।
