Dr. B R Ambedkar, the chairman of the Drafting committee, called the fundamental right to constitutional remedies as the heart and soul of the Indian constitution. Right to constitutional remedies empowers the citizens to move a court of law in case of any denial of the fundamental rights. The courts can issue various kinds of writs. These writs are habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, quo warranto and certiorari. / मसौदा समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ. बी आर अम्बेडकर ने संवैधानिक उपचारों के मौलिक अधिकार को भारतीय संविधान का दिल और आत्मा बताया। संवैधानिक उपचार का अधिकार नागरिकों को मौलिक अधिकारों के किसी भी प्रकार से इनकार के मामले में कानून की अदालत में जाने का अधिकार देता है। अदालतें विभिन्न प्रकार के रिट जारी कर सकती हैं। ये रिट हैं बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण, परमादेश, निषेध, यथा वारंटो और सर्टिओरीरी।
