Excavations at Chanhudaro have revealed three different cultural layers from lowest to the top being Indus culture, the Jhukar culture and the Jhangar culture. The site is especially important for providing evidences about different Harappan factories. These factories produced seals, toys and bone implements. It was the only Harappan city without a citadel. /चन्हुदड़ो में उत्खनन से सिंधु संस्कृति, झुकर संस्कृति और झंगर संस्कृति की तीन अलग-अलग सांस्कृतिक परतों का पता चला है। विभिन्न हड़प्पा कारखानों के बारे में साक्ष्य प्रदान करने के लिए यह स्थल विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है। इन कारखानों में मुहरों, खिलौनों और हड्डी के औजारों का उत्पादन होता था। यह एकमात्र हड़प्पा शहर था जिसमें कोई गढ़ नहीं था।
