The first astronomical observatory of the Harappan Civilization was found at Dholavira. Dholavira is located in the region of the Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat. In 1967-68 AD J.P. Joshi got excavated the sight of Dholavira.
हड़प्पा सभ्यता की पहली खगोलीय वेधशाला धोलावीरा में पाई गई थी। धोलावीरा गुजरात राज्य में कच्छ की खाड़ी के क्षेत्र में स्थित है। 1967-68 ई. में जे.पी. जोशी ने धोलावीरा का उत्खनन करवाया।
