Scurvy s a disease caused by the deficiency of vitamin C or ascorbic acid. The symptoms are bleeding gums, loosening of teeth, swollen and painful joints, bleeding in tissues and general fatigue (tiredness). Vitamin C is destroyed on heating. / स्कर्वी विटामिन सी या एस्कॉर्बिक एसिड की कमी के कारण होने वाली बीमारी है। लक्षण मसूड़ों से खून बह रहा है, दांतों का ढीला होना, सूजन और दर्दनाक जोड़ों, ऊतकों में रक्तस्राव और सामान्य थकान (थकान) है। गर्म करने पर विटामिन सी नष्ट हो जाता है।
