Dactylogram is simply a fingerprint. The word originates from the Greek word ‘daktylos’ which loosely translates to ‘something written’. The study of fingerprints for identification purposes is called dactylography. / अंगुली की छाप बस एक फिंगरप्रिंट है। यह शब्द ग्रीक शब्द ‘डैक्टिलोस’ से निकला है जो ‘कुछ लिखा हुआ’ के रूप में अनुवाद करता है। पहचान के उद्देश्यों के लिए उंगलियों के निशान के अध्ययन को डैक्टिलोग्राफी कहा जाता है।
