(2) The demand of commodity mainly stems from the consumption capacity of the buyer. Demand is equal to desire plus ability to pay plus will to spend. De- mand for a commodity depends upon number of factors called Determinants. The demand function can be symbolically expressed as: QdN = f (PN, PR, I, T, E, O) where, QdN = Quantity demanded for the commodity; PN = Price of the commodity; PR = Price of related commodity; I = Income of consumers; T = Taste & Preferences of the consumers; E = Expectations about the future prices; and O= other factors. / कमोडिटी की मांग मुख्य रूप से खरीदार की खपत क्षमता से उपजी है। मांग इच्छा के बराबर है और भुगतान करने की क्षमता के साथ-साथ भुगतान करने की क्षमता भी है। डे-कमोडिटी के लिए डिमांडंट नामक कारकों की संख्या पर निर्भर करता है। मांग फ़ंक्शन को प्रतीकात्मक रूप से व्यक्त किया जा सकता है: QdN = f (PN, PR, I, T, E, O) जहां, QdN = कमोडिटी के लिए मांग की गई मात्रा; पीएन = वस्तु की कीमत; पीआर = संबंधित वस्तु की कीमत; I = उपभोक्ताओं की आय; टी = उपभोक्ताओं के स्वाद और प्राथमिकताएं; ई = भविष्य की कीमतों के बारे में उम्मीदें; और ओ = अन्य कारक।
