When freshwater fish is placed in salt water, the water molecules contained in the fish’s body would pass through the cell membranes of the fish, causing the fish to lose water by diffusion. This sudden change in the molecular makeup of the fish would cause the fish to die.
जब मीठे पानी की मछली को खारे पानी में रखा जाता है, तो मछली के शरीर में मौजूद पानी के अणु मछली की कोशिका झिल्ली से होकर गुजरते हैं, जिससे मछली विसरण द्वारा पानी खो देती है। मछली के आणविक श्रृंगार में यह अचानक परिवर्तन मछली के मरने का कारण बनेगा।
