It is imagined that Aryans were spread from Afganistan to Valley of Ganga. There are description many of rivers and mountains in the Rigveda. Asikni was Chenab, Parusni was Ravi, Kubha was Kabul, Krumu as Kurum, Vipas as Beas and Sutudri as Sutlej./यह कल्पना की जाती है कि आर्य अफगानिस्तान से गंगा की घाटी तक फैले हुए थे। ऋग्वेद में अनेक नदियों और पर्वतों का वर्णन मिलता है। असिकनी चिनाब थी, परुष्णी रवि थी, कुभा काबुल थी, क्रुमू कुरुम थी, विपास ब्यास थी और सुतुद्री सतलज थी।
