The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is the successor to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and is a subsidiary body of the United Nations General Assembly. The General Assembly established the UNHRC by adopting a resolution on 15 March 2006, in order to replace the previous CHR/संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद (UN HRC) संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार आयोग (CHR) का उत्तराधिकारी है और संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा की सहायक संस्था है। महासभा ने पिछले सीएचआर को बदलने के लिए 15 मार्च 2006 को एक संकल्प अपनाकर यूएनएचआरसी की स्थापना की।.
