The collection of vedic hymns or mantras is called samhita. Samhita is a sanskrit word that may be interpreted as “to arrange together in union”. The samhitas are the most ancient part of the vedas which are the most ancient hindu and yogic texts. The samhitas contain mantras, prayers, litanies and hymns to god.
वैदिक भजनों या मंत्रों के संग्रह को संहिता कहा जाता है। संहिता एक संस्कृत शब्द है जिसकी व्याख्या “संघ में एक साथ व्यवस्था करना” के रूप में की जा सकती है। संहिताएँ वेदों का सबसे प्राचीन हिस्सा हैं जो सबसे प्राचीन हिंदू और योग ग्रंथ हैं। संहिताओं में मंत्र, प्रार्थनाएँ, प्रार्थनाएँ और भगवान के भजन शामिल हैं।
