The Eastern Coastal Plains refer to a wide stretch of landmass of India, lying between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. It stretches from Tamil Nadu in the south to West Bengal in the north. It is locally known as Northern Circars in the northern part between Mahanadi and Krishna rivers and Coromandel Coast in the southern part between Krishna and Kaveri rivers. / पूर्वी तटीय मैदान पूर्वी घाट और बंगाल की खाड़ी के बीच स्थित भारत के विस्तृत भूभाग को कहते हैं। यह दक्षिण में तमिलनाडु से लेकर उत्तर में पश्चिम बंगाल तक फैला हुआ है। यह स्थानीय रूप से महानदी और कृष्णा नदियों के बीच उत्तरी भाग में उत्तरी सरकार और कृष्णा और कावेरी नदियों के बीच दक्षिणी भाग में कोरोमंडल तट के रूप में जाना जाता है।
