Human skin color is primarily due to the presence of melanin in the skin. Skin color ranges from almost black to white with a pinkish tinge due to blood vessels underneath. In animals melanin pigments are derivatives of the amino acid tyrosine. /मानव त्वचा का रंग मुख्य रूप से त्वचा में मेलेनिन की उपस्थिति के कारण होता है। नीचे की रक्त वाहिकाओं के कारण त्वचा का रंग गुलाबी रंग के साथ लगभग काले से सफेद तक होता है। जानवरों में मेलेनिन वर्णक अमीनो एसिड टायरोसिन के व्युत्पन्न होते हैं।
