Tipu Sultan ascended the throne of Mysore in 1782 after the death of his father Hyder Ali. Lord Wellesley was the Governor–General of the English Company during the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War. Tipu fought bravely and attained Martyrdom on May 4, 1799. British army plundered Tipu’s Capital Srirangapatnam and his palace. Tipu introduced the modern calendar and introduced the new warfare system.
टीपू सुल्तान अपने पिता हैदर अली की मृत्यु के बाद 1782 में मैसूर की गद्दी पर बैठे। चौथे एंग्लो-मैसूर युद्ध के दौरान लॉर्ड वेलेस्ली अंग्रेजी कंपनी के गवर्नर-जनरल थे। टीपू ने बहादुरी से लड़ाई लड़ी और 4 मई, 1799 को शहीद हो गए। ब्रिटिश सेना ने टीपू की राजधानी श्रीरंगपट्टनम और उनके महल को लूट लिया। टीपू ने आधुनिक कैलेंडर की शुरुआत की और नई युद्ध प्रणाली की शुरुआत की।
