Vasundhara in Hindi stands for Earth In English, The United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), also known as the Rio Summitt, or Earth Summit was a major United Nations conferences held in Rio de Janeiro from 3 June to 14 June, 1992. An important achievement was an agreements on the Climate Change Convention which in turn led to the Kyoto Protocol. Another agreement was to “not carry out any activities on the lands of indigenous peoples that would cause environmental degradation or that would be culturally inappropriate”./हिंदी में वसुंधरा अंग्रेजी में पृथ्वी के लिए खड़ा है, पर्यावरण और विकास पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र सम्मेलन (UNCED), जिसे रियो शिखर सम्मेलन या पृथ्वी शिखर सम्मेलन के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, 3 जून से 14 जून, 1992 तक रियो डी जनेरियो में आयोजित एक प्रमुख संयुक्त राष्ट्र सम्मेलन था। एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि जलवायु परिवर्तन सम्मेलन पर एक समझौता था, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप क्योटो प्रोटोकॉल हुआ। एक अन्य समझौता “मूल निवासियों की भूमि पर ऐसी कोई भी गतिविधि नहीं करना था जिससे पर्यावरण का क्षरण हो या जो सांस्कृतिक रूप से अनुपयुक्त हो”।
