Heart is the only organ in the body which never rest throughout the entire life. The heart is a hollow muscle that pumps blood throughout the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. It is found in all animals with a circulatory system (including all vertebrates). The vertebrate heart is principally composed of cardiac muscle and connective tissue. The average human heart, beating at 72 beats per minute, will beat approximately 2.5 billion times during an average 66 year lifespan. / हृदय शरीर का एकमात्र ऐसा अंग है जो जीवन भर कभी आराम नहीं करता है। हृदय एक खोखली मांसपेशी है जो बार-बार, लयबद्ध संकुचन द्वारा पूरे रक्त वाहिकाओं में रक्त पंप करती है। यह सभी जानवरों में एक संचार प्रणाली (सभी कशेरुक सहित) में पाया जाता है। कशेरुक दिल मुख्य रूप से हृदय की मांसपेशी और संयोजी ऊतक से बना होता है। औसत मानव हृदय, प्रति मिनट 72 बीट्स पर धड़क रहा है, औसत 66 साल के जीवनकाल में लगभग 2.5 बिलियन बार हराएगा।
