Guru Gobind Singh laid the foundation of Khalsa Panth in the holy city of Anandpur Sahib (Punjab) on Baisakhi Day in year 1699. It was established in order to teach the followers that no ritual or superstition is above almighty and one should not fall bor any superstition.
गुरु गोबिंद सिंह ने वर्ष 1699 में बैसाखी के दिन पवित्र शहर आनंदपुर साहिब (पंजाब) में खालसा पंथ की नींव रखी। इसकी स्थापना अनुयायियों को यह सिखाने के लिए की गई थी कि कोई भी अनुष्ठान या अंधविश्वास सर्वशक्तिमान से ऊपर नहीं है और किसी को भी किसी अंधविश्वास में नहीं पड़ना चाहिए।
