Bank (1968–72 and 1975–77), a consultant to the Planning Commission, India, editor of the Indian Express and Times of India and a minister in the government of India (1998–2004). He was awarded
the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 1982. He is an agnostic. Arun Shourie was born in Jalandhar, India.
He was the first child of father Hari Dev Shourie and mother Dayawanti Devasher. / (२) अरुण शौरी एक भारतीय पत्रकार, लेखक और राजनीतिज्ञ हैं। उन्होंने विश्व बैंक (1968-72 और 1975-77) के साथ एक अर्थशास्त्री के रूप में कार्य किया, योजना आयोग, भारत के सलाहकार, इंडियन एक्सप्रेस और टाइम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया के संपादक और भारत सरकार में मंत्री (1998-2004) । 1982 में उन्हें रेमन मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। वह एक अज्ञेय हैं। अरुण शौरी का जन्म भारत के जालंधर में हुआ था। वह पिता हरि देव शौरी और मां दयावंती देवाशीर की पहली संतान थे।
