Kathmandu: The much talked about visit of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to India has been postponed till May. However, India has informed about the date of his visit. But it has not been revealed yet. Both sides say that the date will not be announced until some agenda is concrete. The Nepali newspaper Kathmandu Post wrote that the Indian side has indicated that the visit could happen anytime in the first fortnight of May. Officials are giving final touches to major agreements to be signed between the two countries. Prime Minister’s Chief Political Advisor Haribol Gajurel said that the Prime Minister’s visit could gain momentum after the new Foreign Minister takes oath. “We are hopeful that the yatra will happen before mid-May,” he said. NP Saud of the Nepali Congress is scheduled to take oath as the new foreign minister on Sunday. Earlier it was expected that the Nepalese Prime Minister would visit India in April. But due to domestic politics and lack of clarity on the agreements, the visit was postponed./काठमांडू: प्रधानमंत्री पुष्प कमल दहल की बहुचर्चित भारत यात्रा मई तक टल गई है। हालांकि भारत ने उनकी यात्रा की तारीख के बारे में बता दिया है। लेकिन अभी तक इसका खुलासा नहीं हुआ है। दोनों पक्षों का कहना है कि जब तक कुछ एजेंडे को ठोस रूप नहीं मिल जाता तब तक तारीख की घोषणा नहीं की जाएगी। नेपाली अखबार काठमांडू पोस्ट ने लिखा कि भारतीय पक्ष की ओर से संकेत दिया गया है, जिसके बाद मई के पहले पखवाड़े में यात्रा कभी भी हो सकती है। अधिकारी दोनों देशों के बीच होने वाले प्रमुख समझौतों को अंतिम रूप दे रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री के मुख्य राजनीतिक सलाहकार हरिबोल गजुरेल ने कहा कि नए विदेश मंत्री के शपथ लेने के बाद प्रधानमंत्री यात्रा को गति मिल सकती है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘हमें उम्मीद है कि मई के मध्य से पहले यात्रा होगी।’ नेपाली कांग्रेस के एनपी सऊद रविवार को नए विदेश मंत्री के रूप में शपथ लेने वाले हैं। इससे पहले उम्मीद थी की नेपाली प्रधानमंत्री अप्रैल में भारत की यात्रा करेंगे। लेकिन घरेलू राजनीति और समझौतों की स्पष्टता न होने के कारण यात्रा स्थगित कर दी गई।
