In case of difference between the two Houses there is no provision for a joint sitting of the State Legislature. The Legislative Council can only delay the passage of an ordinary bill for a maximum period of four months. Likewise control over the Executive is placed in hands of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council has no share in this power. / दोनों सदनों के बीच मतभेद की स्थिति में राज्य विधानमंडल की संयुक्त बैठक का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। विधान परिषद केवल एक साधारण विधेयक को पारित करने में अधिकतम चार महीने की अवधि के लिए देरी कर सकती है। इसी तरह कार्यपालिका पर नियंत्रण विधान सभा के हाथों में रखा जाता है और विधान परिषद का इस शक्ति में कोई हिस्सा नहीं होता है।
