Guru Shikhar, a peak in the Arbuda Mountains of Rajasthan, is the highest point of the Aravalli range. It is at an altitude of 1722 meters (5676 ft).[1] Guru Shikhar, 15 km from Mount Abu, is the highest peak in the Aravalli range as well as the highest peak in Rajasthan. The serenity of this temple built on the top of the mountain touches the heart. The temple building is of white colour. This temple is dedicated to Dattatreya, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. At a short distance from the temple, there is a brass bell which gives the impression of a sentry looking at Mount Abu. The view below from Guru Shikhar is very beautiful. / गुरु शिखर, राजस्थान के अरबुदा पहाड़ों में एक चोटी है जो अरावली पर्वतमाला का उच्चतम बिंदु है। यह 1722 मीटर (5676 फीट) की ऊंचाई पर है।[1] माउंट आबू से १५ किलोमीटरदूर गुरु शिखर अरावली पर्वत शृंखला के साथ ही राजस्थान की सबसे ऊँची चोटी है। पर्वत की चोटी पर बने इस मंदिर की शांति दिल को छू लेती है। मंदिर की भवन सफेद रंग का है। यह मंदिर भगवान विष्णु के अवतार दत्तात्रेय को समर्पित है। मंदिर से कुछ ही दूरी पर पीतल की घंटी है जो माउंट आबू को देख रहे संतरी का आभास कराती है। गुरु शिखर से नीचे का दृश्य बहुत ही सुंदर दिखाई पड़ता है।
