Download virtual box and download iso rhel 7 from access redhate.

HOW TO MAKE MACHINE IN VIRTUAL BOX

 

Step 1- Click on new 

Step 2- write name of the machine – folder choose where to save- type (linux) – version (redhat 64 bit) click on next

Step 3- Choose memory size – 1gb

Step 4- hard disk (create a virtual hard disk now)

Step 5- Hard disk file type (vdi – virtualbox disk image)

Step 6- Storage on physical hard disk (dynamically allocated)

Step 7- File location and size (21 gb) and click on create.

Step 8- click on setting 

• Click on system- click on pointing device- set tablet

• Click on storage- add iso location where we install it, than add it.

 

HOW TO INSTALL RHEL-7 AFTER ATTACHING THE ISO WITH THE MACHINE

 

Step 1- Choose the first option to install Linux.

Step 2-  Choose the appropriate language that use for installation process.  

Step 3-  Choose time-zone ASIA/KOLKATA select india  and choose time format 12/24hr and press done.

Step 4- Software selection (Server with GUI).

Step 5- Installation destination (automatically configure partitioning)

Step 6- Network & host name – on and press done.

Step 7- Begin installation

Step 8- Set the root password and create a normal user. Wait for the installation to complete.

Step 9- Reboot after completing the installation.

Step 10- After reboot accept the license agreement,.

Step 11- login screen give the root username and password.

Step 12- Welcome screen – english- privacy off- skip- getting started closed it.
