Interest payments are the single largest item of expenditure. They account for more than 40% of the total non-development expenditure. These items of expenditure are charged on the Consolidated Fund of India and are not required to be voted by the Lok Sabha. / ब्याज भुगतान व्यय की एकमात्र सबसे बड़ी मद है। वे कुल गैर-विकास व्यय का 40% से अधिक का हिस्सा हैं। व्यय की ये मदें भारत की संचित निधि पर भारित होती हैं और इन्हें लोकसभा द्वारा मतदान करने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है।
