White lung shows acute lung injury characterized by coughing and rales; inflammation of the lungs which become stiff and fibrous and cannot exchange oxygen. It occurs among persons exposed to irritants such as corrosive chemical vapors or ammonia or chlorine etc. Brown lung, or bysinnois, similar to black lung (pneumoconiosis) and white lung (asbestosis) disease among coal miners and shipyard workers exposed to asbestos are well known occupational hazars / सफेद फेफड़ा खाँसी और लाली द्वारा विशेषता फेफड़ों की तीव्र चोट को दर्शाता है; फेफड़ों की सूजन जो कठोर और रेशेदार हो जाती है और ऑक्सीजन का आदान-प्रदान नहीं कर सकती है। यह संक्षारक रासायनिक वाष्प या अमोनिया या क्लोरीन आदि जैसे अड़चनों के संपर्क में आने वाले व्यक्तियों में होता है। ब्राउन लंग, या बायसिनॉइस, ब्लैक लंग (न्यूमोकोनियोसिस) के समान और व्हाइट लंग (एस्बेस्टोसिस) रोग के बीच कोयला खनिकों और शिपयार्ड श्रमिकों के बीच एस्बेस्टस के संपर्क में आने के लिए जाना जाता है व्यावसायिक खतरे
